Shemagh Scarf.


The shemagh ( Pronounced “Schmog” ) and also called a Keffiyeh originated in the Middle East.  Also issued to the British Army troops patrolling the hills of Afghanistan or the deserts of Iraq. A large square cotton Scarf type cloth measuring  approx 42" (1070mm) x 42" (1070mm) They are used in regions to provide protection from direct sun exposure, as well as to protect the mouth and eyes from blown dust and sand, wind and cold. Now available worldwide as a very handy piece of kit to protect the head from the elements or even a just a fashion item.
